How Could It Possibly Work?

Animal Pet Shop? Really?

Ok, we live in a small town. The population of the town we live in is approximately 2000 people. The next city over is small as well. About double the population we have. Meaning, business must be booming to stay afloat around here. You really have to have what people want.

A "exotic" pet shop opened up a few months ago. Congrats for them. I guess. I have heard nothing but bad things about them. I had to go in and find out for myself. Well, as I entered I noticed that there isn't much to begin with in this building. Wide open space and nothing much in there. So much potential, but I honestly do not believe they can see the opportunity of what they have. Moving on..

I tried to stay optimistic as I walked through. They have a huge black lab as a store pet, great, I love labs. Lovable as could be, this dog follows you. Wonderful touch. However, as I start "browsing" I started to notice that there is a sign on about ninety percent of their "animals". This sign reads... "NOT FOR SALE" Hmmmm... A store with nothing for sale. Really?! Ooook? Seriously, they have no dog food for sale, no animals but mice and gold fish for sale, no exotic pets at all besides a parakeet that again is... NOT FOR SALE...

I come to find out that their rent is eight hundred dollars a month, they lost their home... Does anyone see the problem in this???? NOT FOR SALE and FALSE ADVERTISING! No exotic animals in the exotic pet shop. WOW! I am astonished at the fact that their doors are even still open. They have an "employee" that is not even paid HALF, yes that's right, HALF of minimum wage! OMG!
